Perhaps the parts guy was looking at a Wilderness trim hitch. That would be different since it has a greater tow rating.

Fortunately, It seems as though they are moving to a 2" hitch as the 2" adapter is now listed as an accessory. However, there is still no actual hitch itself listed anywhere.
