The first episode #28 Assignment Earth was supposed to be a pilot episode for a new series by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry. Unfortunately, NBC didn't sanction it and it never materialized. Had the series been made, it would now over 45 years later been WebbI didn't like the episode because it doesn't feel like a Star Trek episode. But "Assignment: Earth" as it's own show? I don't think so.
