WebPosted this on the appliance forum, but thought I would ask here as well. We recently turned on our new gas range oven, following the instructions for first use. The oven produces a strong car exhaust smell. It does not smell like gas. I thought it might be burn off, but after the third try over several days I think it must be something else.
