WebJul 5, 2024 · As mentioned, the Mafex figure looks great, and it lacks the dumb chain the Figuarts version has wrapped around its neck. The helmet problems on the Figuarts seems to be multilayered. The top is too long and doesn’t come out in front enough. The snout is way too long. The Mafex has a pretty bitchin’ codpiece. So there’s that. Winner: Mafex WebFiguarts feels more solid and compact with generally a lot better QC than Mafex. That said, I have 5 Mafex figures and not a single QC issue on any of them. For now, though, Figuarts definitely works better for you. Their new versions look much better and they will definitely be cheaper to buy.
