WebPoking around, I found out this required libtinfo library component is a new version and (luckily) can be linked, thus: sudo ln -s /lib64/libtinfo.so.6 /lib64/libtinfo.so.5 This allowed the installer to finish the installation and Vivado now starts properly. Hopefully this will save someone the hours it took to find this workaround.
