Be warned that if you have hot loaded 40S&W Ammo ( or compromised brass ), you can potentially blowout the back of the case wall where it is not supported. If I remember correctly the .40 frame is beefier than the 9mm frame to be able to withstand the extra abuse the .40 exerts on the weapon. I don't believe you should anymore use a 9mm frame for a .40 slide than you should use a 9mm slide with a .40 barrel.
